Privacy Policy

We collect only what we need to give you a safe, lasting keepsake. That includes your name and email when you create an account, the memories you and your invited guests choose to upload (videos, photos, notes), and basic technical information like device type and browser type for security and service reliability.

We do not buy data about you, we do not enrich your profile from third-party data brokers, and we do not track you across other websites.

When a guest is invited to a keepsake, we collect only what's needed to attach their memory to the right collection — typically their name (or chosen display name), their uploaded content, and an optional email if they want a copy of their own contribution. Guests are not required to create an account, and their information is never used for marketing.

Your information is used to store and display your keepsakes, deliver the service you've purchased, send the occasional service-related email (a thank-you arriving, an invitation, a receipt), and keep the platform secure.

We never use your memories or content for advertising. We do not use your content to train AI models. Any in-product AI-assisted features within Moment Saved™ (such as transcripts, captions, highlight reels, or memory prompts) stay private to your experience and would never be used to train external AI systems.

For users in the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom, we process your information under the following legal bases:

• Contract — to provide the keepsake service you've purchased or been invited to.
• Legitimate interests — to keep the platform secure, prevent fraud, and improve reliability.
• Legal obligation — to comply with applicable tax, accounting, and law-enforcement requirements.
• Consent — for any optional features that ask for it explicitly (such as marketing emails, if you've chosen to receive them).

You own your memories. Hosts and guests retain full ownership of everything they upload. We only ask for the minimum permission needed to store your content, display it inside your keepsake, and let you replay, share, or download it the way you choose.

Specifically, we promise:

• No AI training for outside systems. Your memories will never be used to train external AI models. Any in-product AI features stay private to your experience.
• No selling or resale. We will never sell, license, or resell your uploaded memories or personal data.
• No public featuring without permission. We will never use your keepsakes in marketing, on our website, or anywhere else without your explicit, written consent.

Every keepsake is private by default. Only the host and the people the host invites can view it. When a host chooses to share a clip, recap reel, or public link, only that specific shared piece becomes visible — never the full keepsake.

Your keepsake is designed to stay safely preserved with us. Sharing permissions stay flexible — public links can be revoked or expired at any time without affecting the memories inside.

Memories are stored on encrypted, professionally managed cloud infrastructure operated by reputable providers. Data is transmitted over secure connections (HTTPS). We follow industry-standard practices to guard against unauthorized access, and we limit who on our small team can see stored content (generally, no one — unless you ask for help and grant access).

In the unlikely event of a data breach that affects your personal information, we will notify affected users without unreasonable delay and in accordance with applicable law.

No system is perfectly secure, but we treat your memories with the care we'd want for our own family's.

We use a small number of cookies and similar technologies for two purposes only:

• Essential cookies — required to keep you signed in, maintain your session, and keep the service secure.
• Analytics cookies — used to understand how the service is used in aggregate so we can improve it. We do not use them for advertising or for tracking you across other websites.

Because we don't run advertising or behavioral tracking, we don't respond differently to "Do Not Track" browser signals — we already don't do the things those signals are designed to prevent.

Moment Saved™ is built for adults to preserve life's meaningful moments — including those featuring children, such as baby showers, first-year keepsakes, graduations, and family milestones.

Children frequently appear in keepsake content, which is part of why this product exists. However, the platform itself is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly allow children under 13 to create their own accounts or independently upload content.

Parents and hosts are responsible for the content uploaded about minors in their care. Hosts who collect content from guests under 13 must obtain verifiable parental consent before doing so, as described in our Terms of Service. If you believe a child under 13 has created an account without parental consent, contact us immediately at hello@momentsaved.com and we will remove it promptly.

You can request deletion of your account and the memories tied to it at any time by emailing hello@momentsaved.com. We will honor the request within 30 days of a verified request, with limited exceptions for legal or fraud-prevention purposes.

Preserved keepsakes are designed to stay safely accessible as long as your account is active with Moment Saved™ — deletion is always your choice, never ours.

As long as your keepsake is active or preserved with us, your memories stay safely stored — that's the whole point of Moment Saved.

If you ever choose to close your account, we'll give you a clear path to download your memories first. You'll have 30 days from your closure request to complete your download before deletion proceeds. We want every family to leave with their memories in hand, not lose them.

We rely on a small set of trusted vendors to deliver the service. The categories include:

• Cloud hosting and storage — for running the service and storing your memories.
• Payment processing — to securely handle purchases. We never see or store full card numbers.
• Email delivery — for transactional emails like receipts, invitations, and thank-you notifications.
• Privacy-respecting analytics — to understand service usage in aggregate.

These vendors only receive the information they need to do their specific job, and they're contractually prohibited from using your data for any other purpose.

Moment Saved LLC is independently built today. In the unlikely event the company is ever acquired, merged, or transferred to new ownership, your memories and personal data would transfer under the same privacy protections described here. A change in ownership would never be used as a backdoor to weaken the promises we've made to you.

Wherever you live, you have rights over your personal information. With Moment Saved™, that means you can:

• Ask what personal information we have about you
• Ask us to correct anything that's wrong
• Download a copy of your memories and account data
• Ask us to delete your account and the memories tied to it
• Opt out of any non-essential communications

To exercise any of these, email hello@momentsaved.com and we'll respond within 30 days of a verified request. You'll never be penalized for asking.

If you live in California, you have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the CPRA: the right to know, the right to delete, the right to correct, and the right to limit certain uses of sensitive personal information.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not use sensitive personal information for purposes beyond providing and securing the service, and we never use it for advertising or profiling.

If we make meaningful changes to this policy, we'll update the date above and, for significant changes, notify you by email. Continued use of Moment Saved™ after a change means you accept the updated policy.
